This probably has to do with the fact that the OG version has been removed from the Steam marketplace, because why have two versions of the same game? It would probably be a recurring frustration for customer service to constantly get calls from people who thought they were buying the new game, and accidentally bought the old version instead. If at any time over the past decade you have purchased Red Faction: Guerrilla on the Steam storefront, you now have the upgraded version as part of your games collection at no additional charge.
